Here’s the working prototype, built on the direction from the mood board review. It runs on the BCAA calendar feed. The cards are all upcoming listings from the Boulder County area. Try it below or open it in its own window, and we’ll go through it together on the call.

The page is a custom presentation of events from the BCAA calendar. The window below previews the mobile phone view. The link below opens the prototype in its own window, at desktop size. Light and dark follow your device settings.

Ideas from our conversations that sit outside the scope of this project. They’re listed here so we don’t lose them. Once the prototype settles, tell me which ones you want to build out and I’ll put a proposal together.

Device-specific layouts. The prototype is one responsive layout that adapts to the screen. Purpose-built tablet and desktop layouts are their own pass.

Save events and build an itinerary. Bookmarking, a saved list, exporting to a personal calendar.

Maps and directions. Handing off to Google Maps from a card. Depends on clean venue addresses in the feed.

Search, filter, and sort. Narrowing by category, town, date range, or price.

New information on the cards. Details that aren’t already coded into the BCAA submission form or the calendar API.
